Adswood
About This Nursery
Kids Planet Adswood provides care and early education for children aged 3 months to 5 years, helping every child feel valued, understood and able to flourish. Based in Stockport, our nursery is a part of the local community and a familiar, welcoming place for early years care. Every day, children are encouraged to try new things, make choices and grow through purposeful, hands-on activities. Close communication between children, parents and our colleagues helps every child feel secure, valued and ready to flourish.
Rooms & Age Groups
Our rooms are designed around each stage of early childhood, giving children the space, familiarity and care they need to thrive. Younger children benefit from familiar routines and close relationships; older children are encouraged to make choices and build independence. Settling-in happens gradually, giving children and families time to build trust and get to know our colleagues. For preschool children, our approach builds independence, confidence and the early skills that help them take the next big steps at school.
Outdoor Learning
The outdoor environment is a core part of the Kids Planet approach, giving children daily opportunities for active play, fresh air and learning through movement. An outdoor classroom extends learning beyond the nursery walls, giving children a dedicated, purposeful space for activities in the open air. Our sports coach sessions are a great way to support physical development through active play and help build confidence.
